WH Press Sec: Experiencing delays in vaccine deliveries because of storms

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said on Thursday that they are experiencing delays in coronavirus vaccine shipments and deliveries because of storms, as reported by Reuters.

"We are working to move up scheduled vaccine deliveries where possible," Psaki added and told reporters that US President Joe Biden will focus on the global response to coronavirus pandemic at the G7 meeting on Friday.

Market reaction

The market mood remains sour following these remarks. As of writing, the S&P 500 was down 0.86% on the day at 3,897 and the Nasdaq Composite was losing 1.03% at 13,559.
